Lifting Lives. Building Hope. Creating Tomorrows.

What We Do

Advocacy

Care meets an immediate need. Advocacy asks why the need keeps arising, and speaks up where decisions get made. It is the second activity Lift A Life Foundation is registered for.

Speaking where it counts

Families caring for a child with a severe disability often do not know what they are entitled to, who to ask, or which door to knock on. Older people living alone frequently miss support that exists on paper. The gap is rarely goodwill. It is information, paperwork and someone willing to follow it through.

Our advocacy is practical rather than theatrical. It means helping a family register for the support they qualify for, raising a case with the right county office, and making sure the people we serve are counted in decisions that affect them.

It also means saying plainly what we see. Where children with disabilities are being hidden away, or older people left without care, we would rather name it respectfully than let it stay invisible.

Measuring this work

We publish figures for this work once they have been counted and can be evidenced. Nothing appears here before then. If you need detail on what this costs and what it achieves, ask us directly.
